Funktionen vs. Produkte vs. Unternehmen

Funktionen vs. Produkte vs. Unternehmen

The problem is consumers want the opposite. As an user I don’t want to have to deal with another company, another product. In an ideal world, cool new stuff would arrive as new features on things I already use. I don’t want to go to another website, register again, remember another password, learn new commands, store another device, carry something else, have another number to call for help, download another app, install another engine, remember to visit another website, when, in theory, that new service or product could just as easily, and probably much better, be delivered by the old service I am now using.

Is it a feature, product, or company? Despite its current success, the answer is still undecided.

Er sagt: “The Best Products In The World Start Out As Features”

Critics might say that Instagram is nothing more than a couple features (putting filters on photos and sharing them on social networks), he responds: “It is absolutely fair. Sure, those are features, but Twitter was just posting your status. Look at what happens when you are so specific that you can go really deep, and build a product around one feature.” He points out that “often features solve a specific problem.” And if you can solve a problem better than anyone else, you have the start of something that can continue to evolve.
