On 29 August at 7 pm, the panel discussion “Die Gretchenfrage: How does cultural diversity strengthen our community?” with the winners of this year’s Goethe Medal will take place in the Kammer of the Deutsches Theater in Berlin. Author and journalist Khuê Phạm will speak with Claudia Cabrera, Iskra Geshoska and Carmen Romero Quero about their work and the importance of culture as a bridge and mediator between different positions.

The conversation will be held in English.
Following the discussion, a reception will offer the opportunity to talk to the prizewinners.
