The Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute HHI will celebrate its 91st anniversary on February 22, 2019, by hosting the “Technology Innovation Day – 91 Years HHI“. On this occasion, Fraunhofer HHI particularly invites students of the universities of Berlin and its surroundings to attend. Insights into the innovative research and development at Fraunhofer HHI will be given through short presentations of all research areas and there will be the possibility to participate in guided lab tours. Guests can expect a varied program including a total of 21 presentations and 14 lab tours in the fields of optical transmission, optical components, optical sensors, (5G) wireless communication, immersive video technologies (e.g. AR & VR), video compression and machine learning. The day will be rounded off with a get-together where the guests can enjoy a rich buffet and a variety of (non-) alcoholic beverages.
